Your Bio
As an artist who loves color and texture, who enjoys painting and watercolor, but who positively cannot draw, I turned to photography to fill my artistic drive.
Once a diehard film photographer, I jumped grinning and laughing into the digital age. My belief is that my camera is the canvas and the computer my paintbrush. Digital images may require some computer adjustment and, if so, I use superior imaging software. Most shots just require whatever could be done in a darkroom. Occasionally though, I feel a shot will benefit from more creativity and I go for it. Is it a photograph? Absolutely! Is it art? Only the viewer can judge.
Most of my still life images are photographed in natural light. And while I love creating a composed image, nature photography is of great interest to me as well. My favorite day is heading out before dawn, on a frosty morning, to a National Wildlife Reserve or just idling along back roads to see what I can find and record of the gifts that Nature has given us.

CALENDARS: $20 - four themes: Texas, Wine, Flowers, Birds
These small spiral-bound calendars have a 4x6 original print on each month, the full month underneath & come with a description of where & why I took the shot. They make great gifts!
